Brands will now be able to access data from iSpot.TV and mobilize campaigns via OpenAP through an expansion of programmatic access on Peacock by NBCUniversal. The announcement was made this week at NBCU’s One22 presentation where Linda Yacciron, chairman of global advertising, put in perspective the NBCU campaign’s goals. She said this would pave the way for brands to enter a space where trade-offs between speed and scale or profits and privacy would no longer exist. They also introduced new ad formats Harmonizer and Sequential storytelling in the commerce operations. Sequential storytelling will allow targeted audiences to receive new information that evolves in order to really understand a brand’s identity.
